Audi Gives Social Networking a Try

Better late than never, nearly a year after competitors hop on the social networking bandwagon, Audi finally jumps aboard. Audi recently launched a Facebook and Twitter page.

Audi’s Facebook page was welcomed nicely by fans. In the first 24 hours, the official Audi Sport Facebook page received more than 5,000 “likes” from followers. Their Twitter page was not as successful; they only gained 220 “followers” after 12 hours.

The goal of launching into the social networking world is to connect with fans via social network to sponsor conversation and use the sites for self-promotion.
